Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Investment Counselor / Portfolio Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing client portfolios, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our firm through networking and new business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage customized client portfolios, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
  • Provide face-to-face client consultations and ongoing portfolio reviews.
  • Develop asset allocation strategies tailored to client goals.
  • Network to bring in new clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members in a supportive and professional environment.
  • Participate in new business development once fully trained.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in portfolio management, either within a team or as a sole practitioner.
  • Proven expertise in investment strategies and asset allocation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to generate new business through networking (existing clients welcome).
  • CPA or CFA not required-experience and client relationship skills are most important.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 (DOE)
Employment Type: Direct Hire (Full-Time, In-Office)
Hours: 40 hours per week
